Safety Guideline

This is a very safe ethanol-based gel supplied in tins. Make sure you always place the tin inside the tin holder provided, as this is an essential part of operating any chafing dish with maximum safety.  

Designed to shield users from the potentially high heat of the chafing fuel casing, this stainless steel fuel holder is completed with a rotary operation damper, allowing you to either raise and lower the flow of heat or safely extinguish your fuel altogether. It is essential to place fuel in the holder and mount in the chafing dish stand before attempting to light.

To use, simply open the tin, place it inside the holder, put the cover in place and position that under the Chafer Unit. You will need two per unit to ensure food stays warm for up to two hours.

Take a lit match to the fuel once the can is safely positioned under the Chafer Unit. When heat is no longer needed, simply close the fuel holder lid. Allow sufficient time for the fuel can to cool before attempting to remove.
